AL-MUHAJIRUN SKILLS FOUNDATION

Basically,the establishment of the school ‘Al-muhajirun’ from thand the inception was been established from the forefather down to our grandfather known as Ml.Sa’ad Yakubu, a rekuown scholar and a descendant of Al-Sheikh Ahmad Baba (Al-alawi). Historically, he was among the scholar of University of Tunbuktu. However, our forefather Mal. Sa,ad emerged in Zuru in 1909 and established his school in 1927 with his multiple brethrens that reached almost about three hundren Qu’anic learners. Which for his dedication and talent spread about and reflects others from far and near to be trooping and submissively joined his institution.

Virtually, he had a policy of disregarding the act of begging practice and therefore had to secure three big pieces of lands, which he used to engage his brethrens during rainy seasion to plant crops and harvest for their own consumption. Furthermore, he successeeded in demolishing the shrine of manga people that was situated between Amanawa and Army Barracks Zuru, that is referred to as Rafin Kwakwa, just to have an advantage of acquiring more land that could enable him to have more sources of crops to the detriment of his brethrens.

Then at the time goes on subsequently, his sons inherited his services as scholars and had to continue from where he stops; and amongst was his eldest son Al-Sheikh Umar Sa’ad and his immediate brother Mal.Ishaq Sa’ad respectively. Then in 1973 marked the obvious year in which Mal-Ishaq Sa’ad established his school of learning whith about two students turning out, day in day out from every sphere of Zuru metropolis. Similarly, he liberated his brethrens by allowing them to served in the various houses demanded or for running errands to be payed in return with the served food for their livehood. And this legacy left behind, move his son to have the keen interest of advancing this foundation to the greater height.
